Hi, I’m David Vaughan
When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them:
I help business owners find success in list building.
But what I really want to say is:
I show business owners how to develop a list building strategy that does more than just announcements.
But what I really, really want to say is:
I’m a brand building expert who believes that a lot of times all it takes is listening and being helpful to make people happy. Using my passion for all things digital when it comes to business, I’ve built an engaging community that is helping business owners, big and small, take charge of their list marketing strategy so that they can build a business and life they love.
I’m David Vaughan, also known as #EntrepreneursGeek, and I have built my career empowering entrepreneurs and marketing professionals to utilize the power of their list to get tangible business results. As a highly sought after business coach I’ve spoken, inspired, and shared my experience and knowledge about marketing and the importance of the human element. With over 25 years of business experience, I know what it takes to build million dollar businesses. As host of Now What, What’s Next I’ve had the opportunity to interact with numerous people who share how loving their story above all others is the only way to succeed.
About David Vaughan
I am North Carolina born and raised, and still living here (it’s a really great state). I’m a proud husband and father with a talent for (and over 20 years experience) in communication. Spent 7 years in helping not one but two different corporations expand in non-suburban(country) areas of the state because I made it seem easy to connect with people who didn’t wear a suit and tie to work. 7 years working for Outback Steakhouse helping expand and open locations in markets with populations less than 100,000 people. Think about that, it’s easy to market to a million people and survive never having to see the same face again…it takes connecting to do it in a city of 55,000. Then 8 years working for an enterprise telecom company before deciding to launch my own business.
As I have worked for others, I found myself teaching others what I had learned to help them keep the customers they have and gain new ones easier (who’s not for that).
I’m all for handing out short cuts and giving away the goods.
What I realized with my last position is that my passion is not the building but helping and teaching others how to create the success they desire to deliver the freedoms they so much deserve.
I love to laugh, the joy of animals (3 dogs and 1 cat are in my pack right now), listening to people talk about their lives, salt water fishing, just about everything FOX puts out there, cooking (not cleaning up though). I’ve been known to go to the store with my bedroom shoes on and watch mindless SyFy monster movies all day long.
God is great, life is awesome and I am loving the ride.
